Rapsody – “Sassy”

One of the most respected albums that dropped this year (across all genres) was definitely Rapsody’s Laila’s Wisdom. It was one my favorites as well. While the MC dropped a couple of videos for the album, she comes back with another one & a party came with it. Request: Can anyone get Rapsody to do a visual for “Pay Up“?

Rapsody’s Laila’s Wisdom has been talked about since its released as it should be. Rapsody is one of the best rappers out, period. It’s time for her to get the respect she deserves, not as a female MC but as a MC period.

Two of Chicago’s talented artists Add-2 and BJ The Chicago Kid collaborate together for track “15 minutes of Fame”. I’ve been playing this song on repeat for the past 15 minutes. I love BJ’s voice and the realness of Add-2 lyrics. Jamla is the Squad compilation can not come fast enough! Press play as Jamla brings a breath of fresh air to hip hop!

The realness of this song is refreshing. It’s a reflection of a normal person’s day or life. I’m tired of hearing music that I cannot connect with. This track is music one can relate to. Take out four minutes and forty five seconds of your time to listen to GQ “Walk on By” featuring Heather Victoria.

November 21st can not come fast enough! I’m so ready to listen to ADD-2’s first project with Jamla Records, Between Heaven and Hell. The first song released “Don’t Go” is definitely a banger! Between Heaven and Hell will be produced by one of my favorite producers, Khrysis. Take a listen to “Club Church” this should hold us over for two more days.

If you would like to listen to ADD-2 previous projects check out his soundcloud.
